Found this nice site while I was drinking my morning coffe today, it's in swedish but the pics are nice.

The dory was imported to the swedish westcoast at the end of the 19 century, by a ships captain, and found use on particularly shallow areas. You never se any these days.

Interesting dory skiff design! A bit like the Chamberlain but the bottom is easily 3x wider, looking at the first photo.

Certainly is educational to see the different ways builders in other countries put boats together, all coming up with similar results.
