The ASH BREEZE is the national quarterly journal of the Traditional Small Craft Association, Inc. (TSCA)-- www.tsca.net (http://www.tsca.net) . For the last eight years, Dan Drath edited and published the magazine. With the recent publication of the Winter 2008 issue, Dan decided to step down.

The TSCA National Council chose Mike Wick and Ned Asplundh to be the next co-editors. We hope to become a venue for the WoodenBoat Forum members who are interested in writing for this venerable journal. Should your contribution be accepted for print, and you require compensation, you'll receive a free TSCA T-shirt. If you are not already a member, we hope you'll join us.

TSCA is an umbrella organization founded in the 60's by John Gardner that works to preserve and continue living traditions, skills, and legends which surround working and pleasure watercraft with origins pre-dating the marine gasoline engine. It now has 29 local chapters spread throughout the country. The ASH BREEZE circulation includes approximately 700 members in the U.S. , Canada, and overseas. Prior issues of the ASH BREEZE can be found online, in PDF format on the TSCA website :http:www.tsca.net/tscaash.html .

Michael,
I was just given a stack of Ash Breeze issues, great stuff. I am subscribing, and would like to contribute an article about what I have learned using my own traditional small boat the last several years.

My e-mail address is mikewick55@yahoo.com. We like pictures of people and boats, even if they are staged afterward. Graphics are acceptable, too. Mike Wick

Bob Triggs, Sounds great. Pusk the boats and fishing connection, especially, but not exclusively, handbuilt wooden boats. mikewick55@yahoo.com
