I've been studying wooden boat building for years and am wanting to build a Herreshoff H14. My question is, can anyone recommend some books, articles, sources, et cetera regarding mast and spar construction and basically how to set up the rigging, lines, sails and so on??
Thanks ...

Here's a good start:

And to go along with that, Brion Toss's 'The Complete Ship Riggers Apprentice' sold by our hosts: http://www.woodenboatstore.com/prodinfo.asp?number=300-394
Brion's various books and DVDs on knots and fancywork are all really good. Some of them are a little far afield from your basic question, but all are fun.
Cheers,

Try Googling the name, variously as "H-14", "H 14" and "H14".
Looks like a lot of coverage in the mid 40's in boating magazines like The Rudder. Is this design #84, the racing dinghy with a gunter mainsail?
Mystic Seaport may have some documents on it.
