There is a Wenda on the market here. Built in 2002 as a masterpiece. Literal, since every boatbuilder in Germany has to deliver a "masterpiece" to get a master. And this is neccessary to be allowed to found your own yard.

I am really in temptation to buy it. Some pictures:

What a beautiful boat! But I have some questions to those who know the design:

* Can I sail her alone?
* Does anyone have pictures from the cabin of a wenda? Can you sit inside without headache?
* I would sail with my daughters 8 and 10 years old. We are uses to very basic camping standards (look at http://www.woodenboat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68274). And surely we will fit in the cabin. But is it possible for three people to sit on one side in the cockpit?

I don't know anything about the Wenda design but I sure enjoyed looking at the pictures of your sailing trip.....go ahead, buy it!

Yes, you can sail that boat alone, she is made for singlehanding or cruising with a pal.
Unfortunately, three will be a crowd in the cockpit.
The original layout is with the seat athwartships.
My experience is that she is not friendly to being overburdened by the stern when sailing. You can adjust this somewhat by stowing your gear forward of the mast.

Strip planked no?
The rig looks wrong...
edit to add - Buy it anyway
