I'm looking for someone who might be interested in finishing her up. Here is a link to the design page http://www.gartsideboats.com/skylark.php

I have the offsets and complete plans. A lot of the basic stuff is done.

As it stands now, I have her lines drawn on two 4 X 8 sheets of plywood (Lofing boards). All of the stations are complete and mounted on a ladder back and marked for planking. Although the plans are for a clinker build, I was going to plank her as a glued lapstrake using "okume" for the planking material. The keel, laminated stem(inner & outer), and a nice splined white oak transom are finished and in place. I have a mast and boom and SS rigging that can be cut down to fit her and materials for another spar if you choose the gunter rig. I also have some very nice straight grained fir and some mahogany nosing and banding that would go with her.

If you or someone you know might be interested in finishing up this project, please let me know.

I'm located in Vero Beach Florida.

Sorry to hear you are unable to finish her. It looks like a beautiful boat. If I was closer I'd jump at the chance. Sounds like you've put a fair bit of time and money into it already. Are you sure you want to or need to give up on her. Someone will be very lucky to take it off your hands. If this is due to an illness my appologies and best wishes.

My mother grew up, married and had a place in Vero... until a few years ago. We'd drive down to visit her from time to time. I loved the beaches there and the Indian River was great, where my grandfather kept a small Huckins. Too bad we don't go there anymore or I'd jump at the offer of this boat. Good luck!
