Birthday trip

My dear wife is taking me to Camden area for my birthday. We've been there once before and loved it. Being a little late in the year I'm assuming there may not be an opportunity to go for a sail. we'll tour around Camden , Rockport and Rockland but what other towns would be worth seeing. What else would be woth doing? Thanks in advance.

Many of the scenic locations they mention in the Gunkholing articles are also accessible by car. We visited Camden a few years ago and loved it, and you never know, there may be tours on powerboats if not on schooners...
