Nice guys up in Wiscasset have made me an offer I cannot refuse.
Should have a spot by the end of the week. Only issue now Is I need to borrow or rent a 10-25 hp outboard as its about impossible to get up there under sail. My lower on the Johnson is toast and its coming to the bench for repairs.
Anybody local have a loaner?

Good news, Mark. Someone must have an outboard you can borrow for a day. Anyone?

My lower on the Johnson is toast...
I hate when that happens.
Congratulations on finding winter mooring. You still on the mend for a spring departure?

I just curious, what is the going rate for a good deal?
Maybe six of Geary's Hampshire Special.

Supposedly on the mend. I have had very good fortune as of late.
Many things seem to be coming together and many good people willing to lend a hand. Deal is some barter for a mooring for winter and depending on the situation in spring I will decide what to do then.
It will take me some time to get everything in order if the winds blow me south. I would like to be scrounging up the cash to have her hauled and painted so either way I will be ready.
