In my humble opinion...nice looking hull. House is buttfugly.

Bout time you bought one off of krag list instead of posting all the temptations for the rest of us goodbasil :p
I'd have to say that I agree with pcford on the house. It looks like it could be changed fairly easily to be a little nicer on the eye.. Straight lines on boats = fugly. Put a nice traditional rounded nose with multiple panes of glass on the front of the house. Put rounded sides and front on the flybridge and she'd sweeten up nicely

what a beautiful boat !!! Of course I agree about the windshield...If they leaned out in stead of in they would be fine....Or ,as some one mentioned, make them in a semi circle and then that boat would trun heads anywhere !

Get a good surveyor. Judging by the house, I’d be suspicious of the rest of the “rebuild”! :(

The house is not bad. Not out of place on a workboat hull. The boat is beautiful.

I like it, looks comfortable. even better, the wife likes it! might have to take a trip up to Victoria...
Met a couple at the Victoria Classic boat show who had done a similar move. 32' fishing boat. Very comfy. big deck, very nice cabin, nice diesel. Seems like a good way to go.

I don't think the house is unredeemable... to my eye it's mainly the side windows that are out of proportion and these could probably be fixed fairly easily depending on what's inside... The other thing, the perpendicular aft end of the house, could be relieved with an angled fashion piece that matches the rake of the forward posts. It could incorporate a hand grip and be functional as well.... first thoughts, fwtw. Agree with the others, nice hull.

Stark white? A well-thought-out paint job would do wonders for the look of it.

I can't find it now, but there was a very nice pleasure trawler in Craiglist here, but the boat is in BC. Very nice, in a boat house, all of the gear. Health forces sale kind of a seal. I think it wasn't much more than the one you are looking at. I will keep my eye open for it.

I need my ass kicked. This boat comes up and I'm thinkin about it. But it's power which is okay but where am I going to put it? Cheapest moorage round here is about $11- per ft., and no live aboards. And everyone else says the wheelhouse is ugly. (Though the aft section was well thought out.) Then the autowreckers got a Winnibeggo motorhome thats been rearended but I figured I'd cut off the first 8' and replace the ugly wheelhouse with it. Then I'd have wipers, padded dash and airhorns. What more does one need. So I kept procrastinating, then last Tuesday I'm out talking to a fella who had just sold his 32' Monk and he told me about a place south of here where I could moore for less than $400- amonth with hookups and can live aboard too. So I got home and went back to Craigslist and it was not there. I sent an email but it was a deadend. It's gone. (Did anyone from the forum get it?)
So I've got to smartin up. As soon as I find my tripod I'll set up the camera for a personal moon shot, then I'll post it here. When it comes up on your monitor jump up on your chair and give it a good kick.

Well, I for one would have kicked you if you had bought the boat without doing your due diligence first. I think you should be grateful that this one got away and you didn’t rush into something you might have regretted later on. The purchase price isn’t the half of it when it comes to boats, especially old wooden boats!
Now where did you say that $400 live-aboard mooring was? :D
