Well, as you can see the Gringolet has found herself amongst a bevy of cousins in Eric's back yard. The polysulfide goo which an unnamed previous owner stuck in many of her seams comes out begrudgingly (with an allen wrench filed to a point and stuck in a wooden handle and a dental pick). After two days of working in wet weather, I happened to look at my heat gun, which reads, "FOR INDOOR USE ONLY." However, the heat gun didn't electrocute me, and it sure did speed up the job of getting the junk out.
Here is a picture of the Gringolet with her port side seams reefed (notice, I'm showing the starboard side).

Meanwhile, back at the boathouse, the Lyman is jealous of all the time I've been spending with the new boat. But all she needs is a coat of paint and a few coats of varnish and she'll be ready for the water.
