Scot! Easier searches of the Wooden Boat Forum with Google

Since I'm lazy...I just whipped up a stupid little web form on my web site that lets you do a site-specific search of the WBF archives via Google without having to specify the site name.

You can check it out at http://www.handforged.net/wbfsearch/

If you like it, drag it onto your web browser's toolbar (or bookmark it) and it's yours to use at will.

Wayne...I think Scot did that purposely. It's his way of keeping folks from bumping threads and deleting their bumping posts. Clever fix, eh?

FWIW, if you are a Google Toolbar user, the "Site Search" button does the same thing as Nick's app.

Just put yourself in the WBF, type in your search string, and click "Site Search."

Another reason to install the GOOGLE tool bar in your browser: Spell Checking for Forum posting. It's AWESOME! Yes, I'm the last person on Earth to spot the spell checking feature.
