Thought some of you may be interested in seeing what followed me home a while back. The owner wants a new interior and some more stationary ports. Should be a fun winter job. 30' LOA, cold molded wood/epoxy.

With a few well-placed windows or portlights she'll be even more beautiful than she already is. Very nice shape and color scheme (I might have picked a more subtle shade of green, however).

Sharp looking! A tug for 2! There is one that is very similar here on the Hudson river which is an actual working tug in steel and much bigger, it's named the "Herbert Brake" It was my first tug job on there and alot of fun! Scary as all hell in 7 footers but, I'm still here and it is still afloat! The owner builder is and was Bart Brake and it was named after his father. He was a salvage genius and amassed quite an empire! Thus the name now changed but was Empire Harbor Marine Inc. Working that job with him and for him was the first time I found out that he knew how many cans beer the crew and I had consumed not to mention a few of his own with the radar. I know some of you guy's are going to rib me for that but, Here it is, he didn't want the coasties boarding and finding out our consumption. The other side of it is, when sailing as merchant marine the first boat I was out on we had a pick-nic on board (Strange as that may sound, and in the middle of the Indian Ocean) I asked wheres the garbadge can? I was told you are looking at it! I said, What? then I was informed that nature will do its job, and just think of all the fry and small marine invertabrates that I was suppling a home for. Shockingly enough, Its true! I am much older now, and much smarter I think, however I still do sink my cans and bottles knowing that it is really of very good use! Just a good rememberance of a time gone by.

Very nice. I would like one but I'm too old for a project that big. That is the type I had in mind though.
