Quick question- What's it mean when a judge signs an order endorsing a witness?

Here's what it said- "JUDGE 'name here': ORDER (ENDORSING WITNESS) SIGNED.

Doug, the witness is endorsing the judges order (like endorsing a check). The witness is agreeing to the order, the judge is not "endorsing "the witness.
