I'm sorry to be making so many threads, guys, but I swear this is my last one for a while (new threads in the Building forum, that is). I wanted these pictures to be in a thread that I can find in the future (and isn't titled anything else but "YAY! PICTURES!").

This weekend I varnished the entire inside of my Wineglass Wherry and installed bronze oarlocks (with bronze fasteners).

The varnish is still drying.

My boat is officially "complete" approximately a year after "completing it" (har-har). But really, a year after starting to use it, I've now completed it in the sense of I don't need to varnish ANYTHING, I don't need to worry about any HARDWARE (crap oarlocks for example), and absolutely love how it turned out!

Enjoy the pictures.

Not a "perfect" build by the standards I've seen on this forum, but I'm more of a utilitarian anyway. This was my first boat and I'm 26. My next boat, I suspect, will not be for a few years, at least. Another boat in my early 30's - a build that takes me a few years (I have my eye on some mid-twenty foot cruisers) - sounds good to me. By then, also, I'll have more money (I'm working on a second bachelor's in nursing right now).

More pictures. This is my favorite shot:

Well, the boat has actually been seeing the wet for almost a year now, but it was out in the Southwest U.S.A. sunshine almost naked (no varnish on inside of boat - only fiber glass).

It held up pretty well. Now I'M very happy that IT'S going to be very happy for a while without any maintenance.
