Has anyone had any experience of using or assessing the worth of CCA ply as a deck underlay. My local ply factory offers its products with impregnation.

It should guarantee no rot .How does it glue (epoxy) ? How does the impregnation affect bronze fastenings ?

CCA-treated plywood and lumber here are usually very wet, which makes them heavy. Dried out they glue fine with epocy and are o.k. with bronze fastenings. it won't rot.

The other day I had occasion to edge glue a couple of 1x4"s treated. These had been out side all winter and in the recent rains. I jointed them and glued them with Pro-bond urethane glue with out problem, dressed them just to be sure they were flat, the glue line was tight. I have glued SYP treated with epoxy, Tite-bond ll, and with probond, and don't have a preference. Except that tite-bond is not waterproof.
