On Mark's "Voyage delayed" thread in P&P, I asked if anyone remembered the "Oilskin" thread from a few years back... then I got intelligent and searched for "oilskins".

I got the thread I was looking for, it's original, some information on the Hartford Ct. Circus Tent Fire of 1944 and an entirely new way of looking a vaseline.

I wasted an hour, but now I have SO much more crud to file in my brain!

I did the search thing for "oilskins" at probably about the same time as you Vince.....And turned up 38 threads.....None of which was the one that you were referening. I've pretty much figured out that the WBF search function is, at best, a crap shoot. (Of course, I suppose that if you found it a few seconds before me, and took it off the shelf to look at, it wouldn't be there when I was looking for it now, would it!? ;) )
