I'm assuming that because this is an offer for a free boat that it won't conflict with the forum rules. Let me know if I'm wrong and I'll pull it.

Not my boat, but I do know the owners and have spent lots of time on her myself. I'd hate to see this boat go to the wrecker so I'm trying to spread the word.

Worked on one many years ago. Did cabin recanvas and paint. Good boat...as a class. Don't know anything about this one.

Gone now, whatever it was.

There are lots of free wooden boats around here, but the good ones that we have personal knowledge about should certainly be listed here.

email the owner in the link for the current survey. my understanding is that the keel has some worm damage, and the raw water intake system needs to be rebuilt (among other things). The water system I do know about because I was on her last week when we lost water on the way to KKMI! We shut her down right away, before any damage to the motor. She needs a new through hull, new impeller, and new hoses most likely. But the motor is in good shape and running strong.

Woops! I just talked to him and I guess he pulled the ad.. too much interest! He's got 2 guys who are pretty serious about taking her right now. If he puts it back out there I'll update.
