Thanks for a great morning pick me up. That man knew how to design a boat right!

Very nice - even some pretty cat boat shots towards the end. :)

Mashnee is a recently launched Buzzard's Bay 30 [I think - can't find my notes], done by a fellow Concordia owner. :)

The catboat is Tigress, recently at the Leo I finally met the owner/restorer who received the Broad Axe Award from the Catboat Association a few years ago. Tigress was designed and built by Charles Anderson in Monument Beach, MA, about 8 miles up Buzzards Bay from where I live in something like 1927. She's 30 feet long, I'm pretty sure.

We talked about her last winter here:

I'm thinking Eleanora is setting a gollywobbler and a ballooner(?) in those off the wind shots.

Spinnaker on the bowsprit but sail names have me down today. If that's a gollywobbler it's one humongous one!

Very nice pictures, Elf...

Some are spectacular...:D

You sure know how to take them...

Thanks, Spinner. It's easy when the boats are that beautiful.

The golly alone is about 5000sq. ft. A good way to think about it is to compare that number to the size of your house.......

In the light breeze Sat. we carried it to about 60deg apparent, but not very comfortably....doing 12-13kts over ground.

It was a beautiful day to be on the water.....in any boat

Nice pictures

Gonna be at the MOY?

I thought the video was pretty lame, but thanks for the reminder of the link. Say hello for me to the aft running backstay adjusting team.

No one could take an ugly shot of any of these boats, but photographers of Emily's ability really put nothing between us and their beauty.

Thank you.
