I just wanted to post some photos of the boys, Oreo and Bandit. Oreao is the one on the right and weighs about 25 lbs and Bandit on the left only comes in at about 20 lbs. Bandit lives up to his name, but he is a good cat.

These two came from the same litter and you are always seeing them laying together like this.

Seems like I remember seeing them when I was up there. Do you still have 4 or 5 cats?

I can't remember if we had 3 or 4 when you were here. Our oldest, Sam, died a while back so we are down to 3.

My cats been pretty messed up since the Turkey incident. Hasn't caught a mouse since and just lies around.
This morning while having my first cup I heard a commotion outside and what sounded like a paintball gun.

Come to find out the little bastard has hired Blackwater.

Good enough for Obama, good enough for a cat. ;)

I always thought it was kinda cool the way these two always sleep together like that. Here is an older photo from a couple of years back showing the same behaivour.

Chad.... You gotta put those kitties on a SERIOUS diet. Fat int any better for a cat than a human.

I'm about half convienced that these two have about half ocelot in them. They carry themselves and act like a wild cat. They carry their weight well, in fact even though Bandit weighs 20 lbs he still looks skinny. Oreo on the other hand looks his size but once again he carrys it well.

One of the things I had read a long time back that got me thinking they had ocelot was they way they lay down. Somewhere (and I can't find it now) I had read that the Ocelot was the only cat that would lay down and cross it's front paws. House cats didn't do this, but the boys do. That started me thinking that maybe they had some in their blood. They are big enough to be one. Another thing that makes me think so is there tounge. It feels like sandpaper and that is another feature of the Ocelot.

Chad, not to offend - but what Lefty said. The cats will thank you for it. We got Louie at 23 pounds, and all he would do is lay there in purr. A few months of stairs and controlled meals, and he was chasing bugs and having a much better time with life.

Chad.... ALL cat tongues feel like sandpaper. Both my cats cross their paws. I do not think they are part Ocelot.

May not be. I do know they are wild cats though. I got them as kittens from a guy I work with. They are wild cats from his place. It took us a while to get them domisticated.

The boys aren't really fat, just big. They stay active. We measured Oreo the other day and it seems like that his body alone was over 24".

Riiiiiight..... Sounds like my drunken aunt..... "I'm not really fat, I just have a slow metabolism...." As she waddles to the fridge for another beer and half a pan of brownies....

Sissy house cats. MY cats are swamp cats. They hunt 'gators and moccasins in their spare time, and wrestle with raccoons just for something to do.
