I have read various arguments about what to pay seams with and I don't want to go any where near that topic.
However has anyone any experience using
Sika Pro 2 HP on seams below? I have been informed that it performs well, being twice as stretchy as the normal Sikaflex, and is one step up from a polysulfide.

hello,
I was hopeing to ask the same question as you did I can only share some of my expirences .
hey seam work tough break friend but I am not too far away myself .
for me and my 1938 edson shock cutter , I the stuff sicaflex or is it 5200 .
what I found was it is a sticky goo that if your not neat you'll have it all over the place ,
what I have learned as it is part of the polysufide family .
it needs three sides to adhear to and if oil is a factor like a seaping engine compartment forget it , it hangs sags and does not get in and stick.
I have seen some yards use under water seam compound and davis slick seam but that all works on dry seams payed in deep and pressed in, that is the key a dry good caulked seam.
as to the caulking gun shot with polybufide or boatlife I think the beastys like to feed on that below the water line .
I wish you luck and hope to hear your good results to make it easyer for me when my time comes on my boat .
