Went to the basement to get my gallon jug of Titebond II wood glue. I was gonna fill up the biscuit bottle for my new buscuit jointer. When what to my eyes do I see, but the glue wont come out of the blasted jug!

It appears that the glue has thickened some in the jug in the last 6 months. Rather than being glue consistancy it's closer to mayonase.

Can I cut the jug open and mix the stuff and put it into other containers? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks, Lowell

Never had that problem, but then I use a gallon pretty quickly. How warm is it down there. The glue just might be a little cold.

It is most likely permanently setup. I have seen it happen even with the old white glue. The polyurethane glues are far worse because they cure by reaction with atmospheric moisture and, in addition, appear to be rather unstable. Titebond II is probably intermediate in stability. Even if you got the glue into other containers, its gluing effectiveness may be impaired.
