I was hoping that someone could give me the name of a good wooden boat broker located in the Pacific Northwest. I have a 65' wooden schooner built in 1924 that I need to list and need someone who knows vintage boats. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks All!

Welcome to the forum
If I had such a boat as yours for sale, I'd search the data base of http://www.yachtworld.com/index.html to see who is listing the same type of boat. Then I'd investagate how sucessfull they were in selling other boats with the hope they have a list of suspects to buy yours.
And there's always an ad in the Woodboat mag.

JulieAnn:
You might contact Jim Allan at Vela Yacht Sales in Oak Bay, Vancouver Is., B.C. He has earned a good reputation as an honest broker, handling such boats as KATIE FORD, TILLICUM, KINDLY LIGHT.

Wallace Yacht brokers and Mahina Yacht brokers both handle a high percentage of wooden classics.

Ron's mention of Wolfe Marine Sales is a good call. Ask for David there.

I'll second Gold Rock's recommendation of Mahina and Wallace. I've used Mahina and am most impressed by the meticulous and knowledgeable listings on YachtWorld.com that Wallace provides.

Also I think Wolfe Marine on Portage Bay in Seattle.
Wolfe mostly deals in classic power rather than sail. Mahina seems to be the "go to" people for classic sail.
