Hmm. It's been listed on our web site for a few months, but I guess that he hasn't had any offers.
This is a really nice boat. The age doesn't really tell the story of how nice it is. It was rigged very well and it's been a lifelong freshwater boat. Quite honestly I am surprised it hasn't sold.

Where's the mast?

There is a fine mast. The photos of the boat on the trailer were taken in Cleveland at the shop of a friend of mine. The boat under the orange cover is the one I had dreamt of buying this year. The picture of the boat sitting in the Hudson River is the newest of the lot and the rig looks fine to me.
This boat may be a wee bit older than some, but it is capable of winning big in our North American class races with the right driver and crew.

Is that a 'spinnaker launch tube hatch' on the bow deck? Something else?

Dave, yeah, we use launchers and we also use roller furling on the genoas. I think that a lot of what they adapted for racing was shared with the FD class at about the same time. It's really a fun boat to sail if you are sorted out properly.

This boat sold to a guy who had actually been a member of the class for over a year and who had been looking for a boat for awhile. She'll be moved over to L.I.Sound. We probably won't be seeing her for much in the way of fleet races, but hopefully she'll be stretching her wings some in local handicap stuff. I am glad she's found a home.
