just FYI, i order a makita belt sander from toolbarn.com last week. I used it once and the switch went bad. i called toolbarn and told them the problem, they shipped me a new sander that day and send postage to ship the defective one back. I would recommend them, (i usually try to buy from our local hardware but they don't carry this particular sander that i was looking for)
