Got this one from Lefty last weekend. I think he just wanted to confuse me.

This is a 10" winchester screwdriver, with a millers falls....thing welded to the end:

"thing" is about 1 1/4" wide

Must be a prototype then as there isn't an incredibly expensive knurled brass 1/4-20 knob anywhere to be seen.

you use it to measure how much is in the cup. Hold the round pin up touching the bottom of th plastic cup and fill to top edge of of slot.

The weird thing is I think I know what it is, but my memory is simply not pulling up the information. It's driving me nut(tier).

It is a valve grinder, but they are usually used in a brace. It is missing the other spanner and the blade. It also appears to be welded to the shaft not free. A little side play prevented offsets.

If'n I'da knowed what it was, I don't think I'da given it away.....
Also, I just made a major investment in self-adjusting gronicles, so I don't need to carry around things like that. My compass has enough trouble without carrying around extra bits of iron.
