B Boats

There's the Betty B, the Molly B, the Maggie B, the Sarah B, the Dorothy B, the Annie B, and I'm sure I've seen others.

I don't recall seeing Betty A or Molly A or Maggie C or Dorothy C. How can this B?

I remember hearing old school guys like my father calling the Virginia V the "Virginia Vee" too.

Geez. Someone else old enough to remember Pinky Lee. However I was thinking of Joe Bakkatun's boat, probably not the same one :).

Oh, and lets not forget the Sloop John B.

Speaking of the Virginia V, is anybody sure whether it is the Virginia 5 or the Virginia Vee? I've always called it the Virginia 5 but sure are a lot of people that call it Vee.
