Thanks, Max.
We have a lot to live up to.
As a people, even when our feet are in the mud, our eyes are on the stars.
You yourself are from no mean country, with many proud attributes and accomplishments.
Here's to both our nations, and to the rising tide of freedom and democracy in our neighbor Mexico...

Hello to all the people I am getting to know through these pages. I would like to offer an inadequate offer of sympathy to all of America on this terrible day.
We in Britain at this moment are listening to the names of the lost people being read out. The names are of so many different races and creeds, many members of the same families, it really hammers home the all embracing greatness that is America.
I am with you all at this moment.
Rex.

We are in many ways the same, no matter where we call home. It's too bad religion and politics so often put us in the position of dehumanizing those who are different from us.
Thank you for your thoughts. Makes me hope that I can meet some of you face-to-face someday!
I haven't been in New York since 1987, but I feel like I'm there today, good neighbour.

Thak you, let us also remember that there were something like 85 other countries (I believe) that lost citizens that day.

Thank you, most kindly, Maxie. It means a lot to hear words of support and encouragement from our friends around the globe.
