Haven't seen anything on Lily lately. Have you got her almost finished and going to surprise us with a launching picture?
I know, working so hard don't have time to get on the forum.
Most interested as i would like to build LILY or a similiar electric boat some day.

Electric boats rock. Always start up. Inexpensive. You can have a whisper conversation while going flat out. Easy maintenence. Sustainable eco-friendly. Solar panels allow total independence.
Check out electric boat site (http://www.eboat.org) and link to its forum. Check my link below for my electric boat construction progress.

Hi Bob, here is the link to the most recent pictures. http://media5.hypernet.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=007200
I finally got the decks on and am doing some preliminary painting of the storage areas under the seats. I am searching for some hard to find hardware items from the specs, such as 3/4" brass wing nuts! About 130 hours so far. Rick

Fair Dinkum mate! Why is it that every time I read your posts I hear you in Steve Irwin's (The Croc hunter) voice? :D :D
Glad you appreciate the photography. Lots of great capabilities with the Sony DSC-F707 and its Carl Zeiss lens to go from macro to telephoto in one lens. - JB

Really looking good. Keep up the good work. Are you planning to follow Bolger's plan for all of the power plant? Would be interested in your costs.

Yes Bob, I am. He really has worked out the bugs and a number of the boats have been built. Not cheap though. I have been saving reciepts and will calculate the totals at the end. I think I don't want to know right now  The diode itself is oveeer $120! Rick
