It is just about time to put canvas down on the for and aft decks/compartments of the Haven 12-1/2 Footer I am building. The plans call for 10 oz canvas and it needs to be at least 6 feet wide. Anybody out there care to recommend a supplier of deck canvas? Your help would certainly be appreciated.

They have cotton canvas in differing weights and widths (up to, I believe about 120ins -- 10 feet), although they only list 60in. wide x 10oz. canvas on their web site.
Give them a ring and they should be able to help you out.
Here's one in Virginia:

Thank you. I just placed an order and am looking forward to the Fourth of July weekend with my new canvas.

I bought some canvas for a cedar canoe from Rollin Thurlow of Northwoods Canoe in Maine. Try www.woodencanoe.com. (http://www.woodencanoe.com.) It's a great place to do business.

You are on the east coast, but just to fill out the record for us left-side guys, I just bought mine from Canvas Supply Co. in Seattle. They have the genuine goods, several VERY wide widths of #10 duck. Their phone 206-784-0711. First rate outfit to deal with.
Irish felt to go under the canvas was a bit of a chase, but finally bought it from Flounder Bay Lumber in Anacortes, Wash.
