MIke, I did not want to steal the thunder from the other thread, but wanted to congratulate you on a job well done on your skiff. I love the looks of that boat. Did you build from an existing design, and when you say a cross between a sharpie and skipjack, did you make the modifications on your own or simply copy an already existing type. What about LOA, Beam, and sail area dimensions, can you share the goods? Can you also speak to the sailing performance of such craft? Are they good for singlehanding or no? What about rough water capability?

Do I see a bit of a powderhorn sheer- right under the cat ? And is that the interior of the Maritime Museum at Beufort NC?

I sure am glad that was the maritime museum and not your shop, My thought was WOW! with a shop like that.......

Thanks for startin this one Dennis... I just got back last night and tried to go to Mikes emailed link to the other and couldnt find it so havin this here is bloody brilliant!

Mike this is the latest one youve been sendin me updates on eh? great job mate! :cool: shes gonna be a ripper for those lazy days just swampin around with the missus ;) kickin back and driftin around the ol Huck Finn way :cool:

That one with the fantail type stern mate she looks the goods man I love those sterns nice an firm full rounded and cheeky ;) ... ooops the boat man the boat!!! :eek:

No you do great work Mike its a bloody shame some people cant simply appreciate the stuff you bring here and enjoy the work and info you give... hang tuff ol son theres many of us who do appreciate your imput!
