If somebody on this forum doesn't snap that up I will personally fly Downunda and administer a smackdown to each and every one of youse.

Good lord man, raise to six dollars!

are you sure its worth it?

If you really want it,
figure out now realistically the most you would buy it for and Snipe it.
Its the only way I get things now. I only bid once, and never at the beginning unless it is something I couldn't care less about.
Every time I play the bidding war game, I either loose to a sniper or get too caught up and go over what I would have wanted to (and then loose to a sniper anyway).
I usually do it manually, but if I can't, this site has worked flawlessly for me so far.
this is probably obvious- but it bears repeating.

Yeah - I've used snipe - and i agree, its the way to go if you are serious.
I'd like it - but where to put it? It looks like I may have offloaded the daughter to Korea for a year, but I'm not sure that I can use her bedroom as a workshop....

A boat builder friend of mine who has a shed full of similar big equipment is talking of selling his off eventually as he doesn't get work of that scale any more.
Meanwhile another mate has just bought a similar device and is storing it until he gets time to put it back together.
