1000 Islands

I am going to the thousand islands this weekend (American side) with my family and my little sailing skiff. Does anyone know of a place to launch where you can park you car as well? I was there before at Goose Bay, but we were staying with a friend who had a rental near the boat launch in Goose Bay so we parked at his place. Not sure what other boat launches are available and what the parking situation is.

A few state parks along the St Lawrence have launch sites. Wellesley Is. has one of the largest areas to leave a car with trailer for a small day use fee. You can get a list of these parks along the water at reserveamerica(dot)com.
