I'd leave this stuff in the Bilge == not boat related, or boat-people related.

Interesting stuff it is, and I've posted a response to your identical thread in the Bilge.

From that article it shows that their cost of oil is the SAME AS IT IS FOR THOSE OF US IN THE USA

Do they not know how to refine it with out wasting money? I doubt it

Do they not know how to distribute it at reasonable cost? I doubt that to...

So... that only leaves TAXES....
THEY ARE TAXED A LOT MORE THAN THE US

THEY HAVE A TAX PROBLEM

FIX THE TAX PROBLEM

Tax problems. Tax solutions. I am in favor of higher fuel taxes in the US - $5/gal now.

High taxes help to reduce demand and help to keep prices low.

I suspect the equilibrium price is much higher than current prices. We might as well use higher taxes rather than higher oil prices to reduce demand.

George, you can pay as much TAX as you want!, but dont you dare suggest the rest of po folks should pay what you can afford. The USA is almost TAXed out, at 53% I think we have enough TAXES!
