This thread (about this stuff) looks like it may turn into a pro/con list of things that the forward looking versus traditional boat builder can argue about. My personal opinion is that for a little money a person could apply this coating (correctly) to the hull of a wooden boat and keep useing it for a long time. I don't know what the long term effects will be or if it would devalue a Trumpy. I do know that I have personally seen bottoms fiberglassed with poly that have given good service, heard of cold mold over carvell useing epoxy that is working good, and the use of c.p.e.s. is almost epedemic. I walk on this stuff every day and wash it with a high pressue washer regularly, it has not peeled, faded or delaminated yet, everybody likes it and it INCREASES the value of my boats. It feels good, works good, looks good, is easy to apply, stops deck leaks and makes my boats worth more on the market. Now, you may say "I'm never gonna sell my boat" yeah right, we all say that. Your widow or exwife will sell your boat, and you will probably sell it some day, if it's worth anything. If you can find someone that apreciates your efforts to keep it original (deck leaks and all) you will be lucky. This stuff is not a fixall, it won't help rotten sheer clamps or harden soft decks. It will waterproof whatever it is put on. As a non slip surface it is excellent, that's it's original purpose any way. I'll be gone for about a week (workin on the boat) so you guys letter rip
