CPES a Centerboard?

One last question (?) from the Bobcat builder. Would you use CPES to coat a partialy immersed, plywood centerboard ? The board is laminated from fir marine ply using MAS epoxy.

Who me? No, I wouldn't CPES a wooden centerboard. I'd glass it. It'll take any abrasion that might occur as you raise and lower it better.
