One on the bottom of the main & staysail is a watersail i think.

Thats not a sail, thats just their laundry :)

That's called hanging whatever you've got from where ever you can!

It's a sloop. Ever seen one of those before?
Seriously, I've seen a couple designs for ketches with a mizzen like that, but since you can't tack the boat without taking down and resetting the aft staysail, I'd say it's still a sloop. And I don't think I've ever seen a water sail that extended forward of a mast before.
The Dutch invented most of the fore-and-aft rigs. Nice to see they're still at it.

... downwind in a very light breeze, we once even hoisted the sleeping bags ...
No idea about the sail at the back, but the sail below the boom is a watersail as already mentioned.
Where was the photo taken? The design looks dutch ... .

Version of that Mule that we've seen here time to time isn't it.
Friend of mine has a bonnet on his furling jib to gain a bit of horsepower in the light. For cruising its a fairly high cut #2 but when he fancies a club or classics race he velcros on his bonnet and runs a seperate sheet for it.He swears it adds horespower.
look at that.. even got a pic ( taken at easter)

I think it's called a "Klattengatter" which is just the Dutch way of saying, "forwardset backsail". It's a fairly recent invention as it, like most good ideas, was borrowed from the US in 1826. It was derived from the Chesapeake Bay stick-up.
