It seems George Kirby is the hands down favorite paint company on this forum, but shipping paint is way expensive. Here in Seattle we have a local paint manufacturer called Farwest Paint (http://www.farwestpaint.com/). I was told by a local formite to give the stuff a try. I wondered if anyone else on the forum has used their products. Any input, good, bad, indifferent?

I did have Farwest mix up some topside enamel for me a few years ago, and it was fine--worked just as well and lasted just as long as the Interlux discontinued color it replaced. In fact, I think it covered better. Since then, I have gotten lazier, and have simply gone to the same place where I get house paint here in Olympia. They mixed it from whatever company's house paint they use (of the oil-base enamel variety), and it also seems to go on as well and last as well. As Interlux has axed most of their enamels, it's no longer even a choice. And house paint is far cheaper.
