Any thoughts on the design? Anyone ever built/seen/sailed one? I am interested in sailing around the Caribbean in it....

Mr Stambaugh often has a way sounding less than convincing when describing his own designs and seems more enthusiastic and inspired about his 15 or 16 footers than his thirty footers. I think most people considering a build of the magnitude of Bahama Mama decide there are better designs out there for the time, trouble, and money involved. Personally I would go for BM's pilot house cutter cousin:
