It was a long drive for a short row, but fun anyway. Very interesting
to sling-launch my dory skiff -- I'd never see it fly before.

The wind picked up in the afternoon and most of us pulled our boats out at the public ramp rather than watch them **really fly**.

Ah....My old stomping grounds..... Is that old hippy guy still carving redwood stumps with a chainsaw at the base of the harbor?

Looks like it was a perfect day for a row. The weather was gorgeous.

It was nice away from the ocean, but at the river mouth it was really windy -- enough to cause the CG to shut the harbor/river entrance.

The rivers in this area are lovely, mostly tidal sloughs that allow you to row way upriver before it gets too shallow.
