Here's one to get your teeth into, sometime soon you might get that sucking feeling and disappear into the earths newest fundiment........

"This fall, physicists plan to throw the switch on what is arguably the largest and most complex science experiment ever conducted. An underground ring of superconducting magnets, reaching from Switzerland into France, will smash together subatomic particles at incredible force."

But some are not so sure and have a lawsuit seeking to stop the experiment.
"Fears of an Earth-gobbling black hole have prompted two men to take legal action against the Geneva-based European Organization for Nuclear Research (Cern)."

They been leaning on the throttle of the machine in Chicago, for years now, and nothing has happened. Well, nothing we can perceive.

Weren't these twerps saying the same thing about the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider? The one that's been operational at full power for several years? These guys have zero credibility.

Just like the Swiss to want a nice Quiet Earth

If there's no one left to say oops, not a breath of air to carry the sound, nor an ear to perceive it, could it be a mistake?

So basically, if there's anything you don't like, all you have to do is claim that it might cause black holes and then sue to stop it?

I'm concerned Celine Dion's new album might cause the universe to implode. We must put a stop to it!

Curiosity killed the cat. Didn't they , scientists, have a similar fear at Bikini Atol, and did it anyway?
