In Gardner's Dory book, there are a series of pictures demonstrating the attachment of frames to bottom of a dory. In the first picture, the fore and aft frames appear to be attached at angle .. not square to the flat bottom. In the next picture, as the bottom is sprung in place over a form, the frames are shown (as they should be) perpendicular to base line.
Here's my question .. how does one calculate that angle of attachment? .. I have figured out a way to do the job but am guessing someone has already done it faster and better. The same question would also apply to fore and aft stems
