A few places on the deck were patched with fiberglass and/or injected with epoxy.
It was then sanded and faired using West epoxy and microballoons.
We used Kirby's Hull and Deck paint semi-gloss white. 2 coats straight and one with pumice mixed in. It was a little bit of a challenge getting the non-skid smooth but we are happy with the results.

Still have the cabin sides and the cockpit to paint but the list is getting shorter....on the exterior at least.

Guess I shoulda used the term "even" as in spreading the texture out evenly.:D

It is bright but keep in mind that the boat was wet and the sun was out....it isn't so bright in person. Time will tell if glare is a major issue when we are on the water.

We did consider Kirby's cream color but choose white in the end.

Thorne, Now your playing in my backyard! You know no boatwork gets done when you're rambling in the hills...Cheers,BT

Slavin' is right. Starduster has sucked the last 6 weekends not to mention many week day afternoons and has not left the dock since that day I was out with you guys.

Getting close though...

New sprit, wooded and varnished most everything, painted cabin top and deck....and discovered some rot in the transom. Hopefully I can goop it up with gunk and get me to the planned haul out next spring.

When discussing the quality of my workmanship with people I say, "I can make it perfect or I can actually sail the boat. I can't do both."
