Has anybody tried to use the search suggestion at the top of this forum linked "GREAT GOOGLY"? I can't get it to search this site entering data as described there. I know the regular search doesn't work on this section. It would be nice to be able to search with 180 pages of messages.
I believe the Designs/Plans forum will search properly.
Thanks all!

I have been trying to find a thread from a month or so ago. I misplaced a phone # for a sawmill in Zion,Il. I was looking for northern white cedar and someone was able to find it and posted it. If you remember please post it again, I have an order waiting to pick up, the sawyer uses a cell phone and all I can think is he misplaced my # also. Thanks to all

You got that problem too. Here is the solution. If you don't get it let me know and I'll try again. But for now go to page 2 and look for a thread called "Dem knees" started by Flemming. Go away down to past the pants and look for Walcheren. There is the answer to your problem. The thing on the top of the Forum did not work for me either.

Works for me. If you have the GOOGLE tool bar add on for your browser window.
Petey, this is the only thing GOOGLE found in a search for 2005 northern white cedar
Cedar from June (http://www.woodenboat-ubb.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=004278)
GOOGLE returns 188 threads for 2005 cedar. Are you sure you have the date right? Was it in Building/Repair? All of the other areas are searchable with the Forum Search feature.

Thanks to all, I found the sawyer and talked with him. He never ordered the nortern white cedar for me, said he could not get anything as long as 16' that would be clear enough for what I wanted it for. Back to square one, looks like I'll be shooting for a spring launch

I find it easier limit the search with the
site:
keyword. Go to the regular google homepage and enter your query like this:

copper rivetssite:www.woodenboat-ubb.com (http://www.google.com/search?as_q=copper+rivets&as_sitesearch=www.woodenboat-ubb.com)
