I am seeking information on NY 30 #8, CARLITA.The most recent mention of the boat I can find is in the July 1980 issue of Wooden Boat, which locates the boat in Staten Island. I recently acquired a 1924 trophy which was won by CARLITA.

If I'm not mistaken, Carlita was recently restored to magnificient condition by Taylor and Snedicker boatbuilders of Mystic, Connecticut. They would know the whereabouts of the boat and her current owner.

The boat I was thinking of was Cara Mia, another New York 30. I got the names confused.

Thanks for your help. You were right originally. They are working on the boat, but work has stopped at the owner's instructions. I'm going to try and see it next week. Robert
