Hey everyone,

I've made a little blog about my undertaking here, building a cajun pirogue for paddling the gulf coast flats. I have just about completed my paddle, laminating it from cedar and pine. My blog is at http://gulfpaddler.blogspot.com...check it out, the pirogue will start soon! (My first build has me excited.)

Neat blog, keep it up. And post PLENTY of photos of the build! If you don't mind my asking, what design are you building? My first boat was a 6-hour canoe, which was also a fine example of marketing - it was more a pirogue than a canoe, and took me somewhat longer than 6 hours to build. But it came out nice, and I had a lot of fine Sunday mornings on Armand Bayou with that boat.

I don't see any Pirogue...
All I see was a few gastropods, pair of iguanas, and a wooden stick
