I hope to build an under 20' Electric Launch with the Strip Plank method.
Can anyone steer me to the best book to get me up to speed on the various aspects of the method. I checked with the Woodenboat web-site, and couldn't find any thing listed that looked pertinent to my prefered boat.

I liked Paul Fisher's book:

Chuck,

Thanks for asking...it was my next question to post.

And thanks for the responses, too!

Craig

ps - ...any suggestions on books on seamanship? How is Cunliffs Manual? ...other suggestions?

:)Thanks Y'all.....Got the freebies mcdenny, and stoked my appetite for more so have ordered more. Hope to find the "BIBLE" of strip planking and wear it out thumbing through it.

Shocked to find the lake I mentioned was down 3'-4' due to the drouth we've been having here in central Fla. Dried up my intended docking spot.
Sure don't want to have to down size to a Pi-rogue, although it sure would be cheaper to propel

There's useful guidance on strip planking in The Gougeon Brothers on Boat Construction, by Meade Gougeon.
