Wooden boat leads the around North Island race

Sunstone, the bright finished S and S 39 footer is currently leading the around North island race on handicap!
This is a 1500 NM two handed race and they're at the start of leg 4 now with just leg 4 to complete.( edit only one leg left, not two as I had thought)

When we were in Doubtless Bay a little over a week ago we called to see about getting on a charter for a day sail. Can't remember the name of the boat. Guy answered his phone and said he was on his boat in a two week race around North island. He sounded busy, sort of outa breath. Ok, maybe some other time. ;)
