Chesapeake 32 Project Boat

There is a nice 32' Rhodes project in Ventura, CA -under $3000. Low hours diesel fine hull and deck. All the parts are there. I'll PM the phone number if you are interested. I have had to say no to the project -so far. However ...I may reconsider. The boat should be moved from the yard by th 18th. It could stay there, but I'm sure you will want to take it home to restore.

I'll PM the number to the contributors in the "Rhodes 32" thread below -whether they like it or not ...hehehe. I'm affraid the fellow who owns it now might send it to the crusher. Only 85 were made, it would be a shame to lose it.

Wow, it's on EBAY. You know, there are millions of people out there that have no idea of this boats value. "Gee, it looks all scruffy. Hey, lookie this Catalina 27, ooooo." I've looked, tapped, scraped, poked, and sniffed all over this boat. It's a keeper. I just lost the space I was going to use to restore it.

If it is not beyond my means and abilities, surely you could do it. Tell your friends -kids love the Rhodes 32.

Wow, gee, such a deal. The yard bill is clear. I think the rent is $450/mo. One could spend a month putting the exterior in order, step the mast, anchor it in the SD Port's 90 day cruisers anchorage or post a $2500 deposit and anchor it in the South Bay anchorage and do the interior. All the parts seem to be there. The rig looked very good. I'd do this but I've found another boat that is ready to go ...pretty much.
