For everyone in the Seattle area, there is a fine cabinet shop that is closing down this week and selling everything off at great prices.
The owner Tom Neu is a great guy. Developers bought his building from him and gave him a week to get out so they can tear it down to build Condos.

He has material, tools, you name it.
I bought a Unisaw (finally) in fantastic shape with a brand new Biesemier fence, 4 blades and dado blade (all made in Germany) and outfeed table for $500. I think a lot of the machines have been sold, but he still has a lot left.

There is a huge hunk of teak someone might be interested in about 4" thick x 12" x 8' plus a whole lot more. I went there both Sat. and Sun and still didnt see everything.

It all must be gone by Thurs.

if you call him please tell him Tim sent you.

from Craigslist:

"Saws, hand tools, carving tools, planers, and much, much more. Well-known cabinet shop sold its building and must move 33 years of tools out by 2/28. Shop is open today and throughout the week. Make an offer. Tom at 206-783-5859 for directions and more information."

Thanks Tim!

I called the fellow a couple minutes ago. He said he was going to hang on to most of his smaller stuff ... hand tools, etc., but was getting rid of the big stuff.

He is also a WoodenBoat subscriber and used to have a Dragon. You can tell him you know me from here :-)

Most of the stuff was too big for me, but I looked at the Unisaw and thought about it, but given Griffin's state of mind (end of his rope tired), I couldn't decide. Aargh!

Just tell me the Unisaw was 3-phase :D

The one you saw was 3 phase. I took the single phase one the day before (it was in better shape with brand new motor and fence)

I still may go back.....
