Sent to me by her previous owner

She was an open boat just like "Wink" drew her.

Those are nice to have around Joe...
Looks as though they need some restoration..

I have a few pics.. actually they are in a book oon Tancooks, but only as far back as 1948-9

The block on the rudder is probably a mount for a small trolling motor "auxiliary power".

Great pics! I wish we knew more (any) of Talisman's early history. Tidbit looked great without the cabin.
You can see the outboard mounted to the rudder in the very first pic. :)

It looks like she had a centerboard winch in one of those pictures. Didn't you have to get a 'new' one?

Any ideas where the pictures were taken?

Is this the same Warner design as Tidbit or is it a little bit larger?

the block was for an electric outboard. John Schofeld was using an electric auxilary in '64 and had a power line running to his dock.
a previous owner speculated that the loose current contributed to some electrolysis that weakened fastenings.

you can see that the round combing was there from the begining which is contrary to the comments in the book "boats of mystic."
apparently schofeld built the combing, benches and other bits. the builder herb baum providing the hull, deckframing, cb trunk.

tidbit came first and was a foot shorter. there is only one tidbit
and a handful of bob cats were built.

Thats the coolest thing when that happens. I've had a few similar over the years, people just out of nowhere send or present me with an old magazine or photo of Waione.
