I just happened upon an interesting book, 'Diary of a Bad Year' by J.M. Coetzee - from Australia by way of S.Africa. Good credentials; writes well. I really enjoyed the read (it'll take you less than an evening), and his ramblings about our world today (strong opinions), stirred in with a personal story/perspectives from his co-characters. I have to admit - in the first few pages, a libertarian bent seemed obvious, and I immediately thought of W.Wassa and..... Tyler Durden. Some writers have a way with words, a poetry in syntax, very enjoyable to read. That's how this book struck me.

I imagine a few here might be very familiar with this author; have you read this title, or any of his other works? I'm curious what you might think.
